Hot on the tails of this year’s special United Arrows edition Tobacco sneakers comes a release of yet another sought-after kicks collaboration. Oi Polloi, an influential menswear retailer based in Manchester, UK, has teamed up with the German sportswear brand to produce a limited edition of the Handball Spezial. This particular reinterpretation of the classic, low cut sneaker has an old-school UK vibe and would look just as much at home on the streets of Tokyo as it would on university campuses.

The Manchester Marine is crafted in deep blue suede with royal blue accents in the form of zigzag stripes and a heel tab. A black rubber sole adds subtly cool comfort to the shoe, while the tongue is decked out in the iconic Adidas trefoil motif. The phrase ‘MANCHESTER MRN’ printed in metallic gold above the shoe’s outside stripe provides an impactful finishing touch.

The Adidas Spezial Manchester Marine was released in late November at select retailers, and has already sold out in many places. However, Adidas Japan still has stock available, so if you haven’t snatched yours up yet, now is your chance.
